Letter from our Elders

AdultSundaySchoolFeature

Greetings Church!

We hope you’ve all had an opportunity to watch or listen to Pastor Gilson DaSilva’s message that was posted on our webpage, our Facebook page and on YouTube – it is an incredibly inspired sermon!   As all of our messages are, this one will remain posted, so if you haven’t been able to hear it yet, we strongly encourage you to do so, as it will deepen your faith in God’s promises of provision and protection; something we can always use, but especially now when we’re all facing unknown challenges.  We are committed to our God-given responsibility to guide and shepherd our flock at GGC, so you can be confident that when this present health emergency is over we will all be worshipping our glorious Lord again in our own church in Somerset.

This week David Arruda will bring us our message, and it will be posted on all the same online sites by Sunday morning so that you can begin your week with the inspiring Word of God.  He will be continuing in our series on Mark’s gospel, his message is entitled “The Soil of the Soul”, and will be from chapter 4, verses 1 - 20.

In addition to the weekly sermons we are posting online, we are also sending out a weekly email with a letter updating our church with information and providing encouraging devotionals.  We consistently work to stay in touch with all of you, but sometimes we are missing contact information such as current email addresses or phone numbers, so if you’re not receiving these emails, please let us know your contact info.  You can call the church office or send us an email at ggcoffice@aol.com – we want to hear from you.  This letter and the devotionals are also a blog post on our webpage, myggc.org.

For now, saints, we must stay physically separated, but we are one in the Spirit of God, and our unity in Christ remains strong.  Let us know if you have a need, or call us if you’d like some spiritual guidance or would like to pray with someone, we continue to diligently work for you.
