Letter from the Elders 4-2-20

AdultSundaySchoolFeature

Hello Church!

We continue to pray for God’s divine protection and guidance while we all draw on our faith each day for His peace and strength to shepherd us through this extended hardship.  Your leadership has been reaching out with phone calls, emails and texts to our church families and we’re so blessed and encouraged that we have not encountered one person who has been stricken with the Coronavirus – all the glory and thanksgiving goes to God for His intervention of safety to us!  If you have not heard from us, it may be because we don’t have your current contact information, so please let us know; you can call into the church office and leave it, or write us an email at office@myggc.org.  It’s our desire to connect with our entire church while we remain physically separated.

Another blessing we’ve witnessed is the ongoing commitment so many have to the work that GGC is compelled to do in sharing the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ.  Some of you have brought us creative ideas on how to serve the saints, and our community; we’re reaching out with help, hope and reassurance to those who may be in need.  This work is ours as a body of believers, led by God’s Spirit and accomplished through our church family.  Thank you for the continued financial support so many of you have maintained during this crisis, because of you our work continues – and it is our work, we all have a part in God’s plan to bring souls into His kingdom.

As we continue to endure this prolonged time of confinement, don’t forsake hearing the preaching of God’s Word each week.  You can access Sunday’s sermon on our webpage, www.myggc.org, and on our Facebook and YouTube pages; if you don’t have access to these online portals, we’d be happy to mail you an audio CD copy of the sermon, just let us know you’d like to receive one.

God has an expected end for His children, and He will carry us through to its completion.  May we pray for His Holy Spirit to fill us with the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, faithfulness and self-control to daily fortify and reinforce our hearts, minds and souls.

God bless you all,

GGC Elders
