Letter from the Elders 5-29-20

Good news church!

We are confident we will have everything in place to reopen GGC for Sunday morning service next week, June 7! We’ve been working hard to be sure we are carefully thinking about the safety of all and have put into place many safety measures and procedures for the good of all. Attached is a copy of the Tracking Contact document that every family will necessarily fill in and sign before entering the building. You will want to read through the document, fill in the information before signing it and handing it in at the church; all forms must be signed and dated at the church, so don’t do that part ahead of time. You’ll see that one of the requirements is that everyone, 5 years of age and older, needs to wear a face covering at all times inside the church, unless a medical condition prohibits its use.

 At this time we are holding only one Sunday morning service, at 10:30 am, and presently we are not offering any child care during Sunday service, so if you have children please be aware that your children will stay with you at all times.

As conscientious we are, there is always a danger of contracting covid-19, and other contagious viruses, whenever you are in a social gathering, so if you are over 65 (the recommended age distinction), or medically vulnerable, please carefully consider your attendance at church at this time.

 God is moving, and we’re staying attuned to His plans. With all the precautions in place, we will faithfully move forward. Please let us know if you need assistance with the document, or if you have any questions or suggestions for our reopening.
