Update from the Elders 10-22-20

Greetings Church!

Many are coming out to Sunday morning services now, but for those of you who are not ready yet to attend services in person, we wanted to let you know how things are progressing. We’re consistently seeing a healthy attendance every Sunday, and even many new families; in addition to the Sunday school class for ages 3 to 8, this month we’ve restarted our Junior Church class on Sunday mornings for ages 9 to 15, the kids are loving it and each week attendance has been great! Our teen group, Revival, has been meeting every Tuesday night with a limited, by strong core group of teens eager to grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other.

Beginning in November we’ll be holding a Bible class every Wednesday at 7 pm at the church, it will begin in a classroom and as attendance grows we’ll make accommodations. Pastor Gilson DaSilva is continuing his bi-weekly Portuguese Bible study on the first and third Friday night of each month. Our men and women’s ministries have maintained their monthly Bible studies, first through Zoom meetings, and now slowly transitioning back to in-person groups, and there are new prayer groups connecting online now as well.

We’re patiently waiting for God to bring us through this pandemic and eliminate the threat of this contagious virus, and we thank Him for graciously keeping us safe and healthy while giving us patience and wisdom to navigate the details of providing His church with consistent, Biblical teaching and guidance.

Praises to our Savior for His love and compassion to us! We’re diligently working to connect with all of you, and if you are in need of assistance, prayer, guidance or help in any way, please be sure to contact us by phone, text, email, letter... however you are able and we’ll respond.

Looking forward with confidence and anticipation to the day when we’re all worshiping together as one again, as God’s work continues to flourish through our ministry by His grace!

God bless you all!
