Reflection Questions

1. When fear enters my life, what is my first response—panic, control, avoidance, or crying out to God?

2. What situation in my life right now requires me to pray, “Be gracious to me, O God”?

3. Am I regularly grounding my confidence in what God has revealed about Himself in His Word?

4. Do I really believe that God notices my hidden grief, remembers my tears, and cares about what I am walking through?

5. Can I presently say with David, “This I know, that God is for me”? What makes that confidence possible?

6. Am I primarily seeking God to deliver me from difficult circumstances, or do I desire the deeper purpose of deliverance—to walk before Him in fellowship and obedience? Are these really even mutually exclusive?

7. What would it practically look like for me to “walk before God” this week?

Takeaway: When fear comes, call upon God, trust His Word, rest in His favor, and respond with worship.
